France boss Didier Deshhamps has hailed the leadership quality of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba and has said that the 28-year-old has grown.
Pogba is now seen as one of the leaders in the France squad, and he played a starring role in helping the Les Bleus win the Nations League.
A video clip had emerged of Pogba motivating his teammates at half-time during the game against Spain.
Deschamps told Eurosport: “He has grown in importance compared to his beginnings.
“He is an expressive leader who sits between the generations. He has this collective reflection.”
Pogba is 11 games away from reaching a century appearance for France, and it only highlights just how far the Frenchman has grown in his career.
