Young Boys played with 12-men against Manchester United’s 10-men

Manchester United slumped to a shock 2-1 defeat to Young Boys in Switzerland on Tuesday evening despite taking the lead through Cristiano Ronaldo in the first-half.

The Red Devils were reduced to 10 men in the first-half after Aaron Wan-Bissaka was sent off in the 35th minute.

Young Boys midfielder Fabian Rieder has revealed they played with 12 men against Manchester United’s 10 men with their vocal fans acting like a 12th man.

He said: “The fans are like a 12th man for us. They gave us a lot of confidence, I’m sure every player would agree.”
