Super Computer gives Champions League predictions

FiveThirtyEight’s supercomputer has come up with interesting stats for this season’s Champions League.

Champions League football begins today, and it’s a long road to the final in May.

FiveThirtyEight’s supercomputer has backed last season’s finalist to win the Champions League this season and Bayern Munich are the second favourites. England duo Chelsea and Liverpool are third and fourth respectively, while Manchester United are rated just behind Barcelona and Real Madrid who are 5th and 6th position.

Manchester United are rated 7th with a 5% chance of becoming champions, while France giants PSG are in distant 10th even behind Ajax and RB Leipzig.

3 – Chelsea – 10%

4 – Liverpool – 9%

5 – Barcelona – 8%

6 – Real Madrid – 6%

7 – Manchester United – 5%

8 – Ajax – 5%

9 – RB Leipzig – 4%

10 – Paris Saint-Germain – 4%

11 – Borussia Dortmund – 4%

12 – Atletico Madrid – 4%
