Paul Scholes reveals the substitution Solskjaer should have made against Young Boys

Manchester United lost 2-1 to Young Boys in Switzerland on Tuesday evening despite taking the lead in the first-half through Cristiano Ronaldo.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka was sent off on the 35th minute and Manchester United failed to hold on to our lead, conceding twice in the second half.

Manchester United legend Paul Scholes blames the defeat on the red card but believes Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should have brought on Mason Greenwood or Anthony Martial due to their pace.

Scholes told BT Sport: “It all stems from the sending off. United were quite comfortable up to that point.

“They really couldn’t get out of their half in the second half. I think they needed to bring a bit of pace on earlier, with Martial or Greenwood.”
