Newcastle United goalkeeper Freddie Woodman has admitted he was good enough after conceding 4 goals against Manchester United.
The Red Devils beat Manchester United 4-1 at Old Trafford on Saturday with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring twice on his Manchester United debut.
Woodman said on social media: “Tough day at the office yesterday.
“Never been one to avoid responsibility, hold my hands up, wasn’t good enough. Life of a goalkeeper.
“Important now to learn and react in the right way.”
Woodman’s team-mate Joe Willock responded to the post and said: “We are all together brother we lose and win as one.”
