When Cristiano Ronaldo joined back Manchester United, there were doubts over the signing, as many believed the 36-year-old may have gone past his best to do well in the Premier League.
However, after a top performance in his debut, as he netted a brace against Newcastle, it’s now a question of how many goals he can score this season.
Former Aston Villa star Gabriel Agbonlahor has now backed Ronaldo to get up to 28 league goals this season.
He believes that both Lukaku and Ronaldo can get up to 28 goals.
He told talkSPORT: “Lukaku and Ronaldo can get 28 goals.
“You think of 28 and you think ‘wow its a lot of goals’ but the way he’s scoring at the moment and the way he’s playing you’d back him to score in 28 games.
“Say one goal in 28 games and maybe don’t score for 10 games, Lukaku can get 28 goals, Ronaldo can.”
