Following the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo, Manchester United hope to secure the long-term future of Bruno Fernandes.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen on rewarding Fernandes’ stunning form for the Red Devils and according to The Sun, he could be given a deal worth £300,000-per-week.

According to The Mirror, while Bruno is happy to extend his Manchester United contract, the 27 year old Portugal international wants a release clause added to his new contract.

However, Manchester United bosses aren’t willing to insert a release clause into any contract for Bruno as it doesn’t suit the Red Devils.

In 83 games for United, Fernandes has scored 43, while laying on another 25 for his teammates.
