Last season, Harry had the highest assist in the Premier League as he finished the season with 14 assists. Kevin De Bruyne and Bruno Fernandes finished behind the England captain with 12 assists each.

Meanwhile, Paul Pogba who just had one assist last season has vowed to topple the assist ranking this season.

Pogba has started the season in phenomenal form and tops the assist chart with five assists in only three games.

The France international is keen on having the highest assist but he also wants to win trophies this season as well.

Before heading out on international duty, Pogba said: “Which assist means the most to me? The next one. The next one, hopefully.

“It’s true that it’s been very nice to get those assists, but then you want to finish [as] the top assister of the league.

“You want to win something at the end, so all this will mean something with a trophy.

“It won’t mean anything without a trophy. I’m focused on that; I’m focused on giving my best on the pitch and hopefully I can get many more.”
