Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly made a decision on when to give Cristiano Ronaldo his first start.
The 36 year old forward re-joined Manchester United from Juventus during the summer transfer window and is expected to join his new team-mates in training later this week.
According to The Sun via Metro, Solskjaer has decided against starting Ronaldo for Saturday’s Premier League game against Newcastle United.
Solskjaer has made the decision to leave Ronaldo on the bench for the game against Newcastle United because he won’t have enough training with his teammates before the game.
Ronaldo’s first start could be against Young Boys in Bern, Switzerland in the Champions League next Tuesday (14 September).
