Manchester United defender Raphael Varane made his debut in a 1-0 win against Wolves last weekend, as United’s away victory broke Arsenal’s 28-match unbeaten record away from home.
The former Real Madrid centre-back looked the real deal alongside Harry Maguire as the United defence warded off any trouble from Wolves.
According to the Sun, Varane has settled in quickly at Old Trafford and his team-mates have been left in awe of his performance and already look to the four time Champions League winner and World Cup winner for guidance.
Meanwhile, Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has admitted that he’s happy with the signing of Varane.
“The arrival of Raph (Varane) is always positive, especially for the club,” Pogba told Telefoot.
“We have a very good relationship, we have known each other for a very long time. I am happy that he is with us and that he brings his experience and qualities.”
