It’s a known fact that the best players love to play with even better players, and Paul Pogba’s case isn’t any different.
Just a month ago, we were talking about Paul Pogba leaving the club, with PSG keen on his signature. Pogba however stayed back at Old Trafford, and he’s having a magnificent season already.
The Frenchman seems to be happier this season, and he has now admitted that he is pleased with the club’s positive action in the transfer market as they went ahead to sign Raphael Varane from Real Madrid and superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
“The arrival of Raph (Varane) is always positive, especially for the club,” Pogba told Telefoot. “We have a very good relationship, we have known each other for a very long time. I am happy that he is with us and that he brings his experience and qualities.”
“It’s always a pleasure to play with the best,” Pogba also said on sharing a dressing room with Ronaldo this season. “It’s a boost for the team, the level will increase. We want everything to go very well.”
The quality in the Manchester United team cannot be overstated, and we can only hope to see trophies this season.
