Manchester United fans in awe as skipper Lindelof breaks 28-year-old record

Manchester United star Victor Lindelof captained Sweden for the first time in his career as Sweden defeated Spain 2-1 in a World Cup qualifying game on Thursday.

The 27-year-old has been a key player for the Sweden national team ever since his debut in 2016, and he put in a captain performance as Sweden came from behind to beat Spain 4-1.

Spain had not lost a World Cup qualifier for the past 28 years, making the win for Lindelof and Sweden a historic one.

Manchester United fans have hailed Lindelof for his massive performance against Spain.
