It’s definitely a good time to be a Manchester United fan as the club hierarchy mean business in the transfer market.
Despite signing Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho this summer, Manchester United will still push for the signing of Erling Haaland next summer, according to ESPN.
This is despite Manchester United being well stocked in attack with Ronaldo, Sancho, Edinson Cavani, Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood, Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard.
Haaland is one of the most wanted players in world football and has interest from Chelsea, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona, as well as United.
Borussia Dortmund value Haaland at around £150million but the striker is expected to become available next summer for around €75m (£64m).
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer worked with Haaland during his time as Molde boss and is keen on a reunion with the talented striker at Manchester United.
Haaland has been a revelation in Germany having bagged an impressive 63 goals in 64 appearances. He has also provided 18 assists and won the German Cup last season.
