Erling Haaland was strongly linked with a move to Chelsea this summer, but such talks have since ended with Chelsea’s signing of Romelu Lukaku.
PSG are now the latest to be linked with the Norwegian striker, as reports claim that the French giants have put in a bid of €200m for Haaland.
Asked whether the club’s resolve could be tested by a €200m offer, Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc blasted the rumours linking their playing with another big money move.
He told Kicker: “We are a football club, not a bank! Our position is very clear and did not change.
“I assume that we will now be confronted with wild rumours for another two days. Our position is clear, I don’t need to play the parrot all the time.”
Manchester United will be pleased with this report, as the club are also interested in Haaland. Haaland has a £64million release clause that can’t be triggered until 2022, and United will rather wait until then to make their move for the Norwegian.
