Premier League confirm Cristiano Ronaldo’s Man Utd shirt number

The Premier League appear to have confirmed Cristiano Ronaldo’s Manchester United shirt number following his transfer from Juventus.

According to the Premier League website, Ronaldo has already been added to the United squad and is recorded as being given the no.7 again in the squad.

Ronaldo is synonymous with the no.7 shirt, having worn it during his first spell at Manchester United, at Real Madrid and also at Juventus.

Manchester United fans are eager to see Ronaldo wear the no.7 shirt again at Manchester United.

However, despite listing Ronaldo as Manchester United’s no.7 on the official Premier League website, Edinson Cavani remains no.7 on the Premier League website.

Is this an error by the Premier League or is Ronaldo indeed Manchester United’s no.7?
