Paul Pogba was among the stars in the Euros during the summer, and the France international was also in top form for the Les Bleus in the World Cup three years ago.
However, the Frenchman seems to come under constant criticism in the Premier League, and it’s believed it’s part of the reasons why he wants to leave as he hasn’t felt appreciated while playing for Manchester United.
Pogba has started the season in stunning form, with a world-class display against Leeds United and another fine performance against Leeds.
Former Tottenham and Barcelona striker Gary Lineker has hailed the performance of Pogba and admitted that he loves watching the Frenchman, as he revealed that Pogba’s easy style of play isn’t understood by many.
“[I] Love watching Paul Pogba play,” he said.
“[He] Makes the game look so easy. So easy, in fact, that some mistakenly believe he doesn’t always care.”
Meanwhile, Pogba has revealed after getting five assists in two games that he is more interested in the team winning.
Speaking to MUTV after the 1-1 draw, Pogba said: “It’s always great, but I prefer to win the league and not have the record.
“I think we dropped a few points today — we’re happy we didn’t lose and we get this point with positivity, but we know this game, I think at the end of the season those two points are going to be very important.”
