Solskjaer sends message to James Garner after he leaves Man Utd on loan

James Garner will spend the 2021/22 campaign on loan at Nottingham Forest after agreeing a season-long loan move to the Championship club.

The 20 year old spent the second half of last season with the Midlands club, scoring four goals in 20 league games.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes regular game time in the Championship will help Garner.

Solskjaer said: “He’s done really well in pre-season, and he’s really impressed me.

“I think for his career, another season, or another six months now to start with, playing regularly in the Championship will help him.”
