Jesse Lingard’s future at Manchester United is uncertain, with West Ham and Everton keen on signing the 28-year-old.
Lingard had a wonderful season with West Ham last term, and it was at the back of a long time of warming the Manchester United bench.
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said that he wants Lingard to be with the club this season, after an impressive half-season on loan with West Ham.
The future of Lingard is yet to be ascertained, as West Ham are still pressing on making the deal happen before the end of the transfer window.
According to reports, Lingard has now decided that he will leave Manchester United this summer unless he is given assurances from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer over his playing time.
Lingard was left out of United’s matchday squad for the opening-day fixture against Leeds United, and he’s yet to be convinced of how much of a role he’d play in the Manchester United first team this season.
