Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba played one of his best football in a Manchester United shirt as United defeated Leeds United 5-1 in our opening game of the season at Old Trafford.

Pogba gave a fine display and assisted four goals in what was a stunning performance as the Frenchman stole the show in the middle of the park.

Arsenal legend Ian Wright admitted he hasn’t seen Pogba play to such high levels at Manchester United, and hinted that Manchester United fans will be in for a treat this season if Pogba regularly comes up with such performances.

Speaking on the Wrighty’s House podcast, Arsenal legend Ian Wright said: “I believe that Paul Pogba, if that’s his levels, Old Trafford is in for a treat.

“Graeme Souness cannot contain himself. For him to say ‘why can’t Pogba do that every week?’ No one can do that every week.

But at the same time, you watch Pogba on a weekly basis, he does enough, for me, in every game to influence a game majorly.

“He was just roaming. Go and play. He’s in his sixth season. Let’s be totally honest, I don’t think I’ve seen him that good.”
