Gary Neville reveals the club equal with Manchester United in the race for the Premier League title

The race for the Premier League title has already begun, and there cannot be any slip-ups this season.

From the start of the campaign, every point matters and we’ve seen that with the manner in which the big teams have started the season.

Manchester United the season with a 5-1 win over Leeds United, while Chelsea defeated Crystal Palace 3-0. Liverpool also started the campaign with a 3-0 win over Norwich.

Man United finished in comfortable second place last season season, but Liverpool had to wait until the final day of the campaign to secure a spot in the top four.

However, Manchester United legend Gary Neville believes that United and Liverpool are equal in the race for the title.

Speaking to Sky Sports about the Premier League title race, Gary Neville said: “Honestly, I can’t separate Manchester United and Liverpool. You should say Liverpool because for obviously what has happened over the last few years.

“Last season was a major blip for them. Virgil van Dijk back, but I think Man United will be an improvement on last season. I alluded Liverpool will miss Georginio Wijnaldum and they do need a midfield player.”
