Manchester United legend Roy Keane has advised the club to make a move for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane this summer.
Kane has told Tottenham that he wants to leave the club this summer after a lack of silverware, and Keane believes United should make a move for the 28-year-old and boost the club’s chances of winning the league.
However, former Manchester United defender Mikael Silvestre believes that the club is okay without a striker due to the availability of Edinson Cavani.
He told MyBettingSites: “Signing Sancho and Varane are two key elements for United to push on, as well as keeping Cavani for one more season. The team should be ready to push to challenge City for the title.
“There should be plenty of confidence and self-belief within the players as individuals and as teammates, so I’d expect them to put in a good effort in challenging for the title this year.”
