Saturday’s game against Leeds United was a welcome show for the fans as Manchester United defeated Leeds 5-1.
It wasn’t just the scoreline alone, the entire performance from the team was amazing. Good link up play, nice movement in the attacking third, solid defending, nice transitioning from defence to attack. The more amazing thing is that a good number of the first team squad didn’t feature in this game.
Jadon Sancho came off the bench to a huge ovation with 15 minutes left of the game, and he was too pleased with the football on display on his debut.
After the game, Sancho took to social media to hail the partnership between Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba. Fernandes scored a hat-trick in the game, while Pogba assisted four goals — a Premier League record for Manchester United.
