Bruno Fernandes got a hat-trick in the game, with two of his goals assisted by Paul Pogba.
The Portuguese hailed his teammate who assisted four goals on the day, as he also hailed the quality of the team despite the new additions.
Bruno Fernandes, while speaking after the match didn’t forget to warn Manchester United’s next opponent Southampton, as he revealed that the focus has switched to the Saints.
“We know the quality of the players who have come but the team was already very good, we saw it last season. We don’t achieve the trophies but the team was growing up and we prefer to do better last season,” he said.
“The statement today was Leeds and the next week is Southampton. This has to be our focus game by game.”
