Transfer talks of Paul Pogba to PSG has died down since the Paris club signed up Lionel Messi on a free transfer.
The French giants were keen on signing Pogba who had rejected a £350k a week deal to stay at Old Trafford.
The Ligue 1 giants were keen on signing Pogba this summer and had been preparing a £40m bid for the Manchester United midfielder.
United on the other hand don’t seem keen on losing Pogba and have been talking with his representatives about extending his stay at Old Trafford.
However, the dynamics have changed as Mauricio Pochettino’s side can no longer afford to sign Pogba this summer. PSG’s decision to hand Messi a bumper package may stall any move for Pogba.
Pogba is now left with two options — to either allow his contract to run down in order to join the Parisians next summer on a free transfer or accept the deal from United.
