Manchester United haven’t won a single trophy since the 2016-17 season under Jose Mourinho.
The club has reached the semi finals and even final of competitions multiple times but have been unable to finish well.
Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic is feeling positive ahead of the start of the season, and he thinks United can end the season with at least one trophy.
Manchester United will be competing in four competitions including the Champions League, but Matic who has won two Premier League titles with Chelsea but has never won the Champions League, has revealed that he’s more keen on winning the Premier League with Manchester United.
“Yes, the Premier League for me is always the most important trophy, in my opinion,” the 33-year-old told Inside United.
“Of course, the Champions League is always great to compete in and play against the best teams in Europe, but for me personally the Premier League is something I want to win with United. If that happens one day, I will be very, very happy.”
