Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard recently tested positive for Covid-19 and had to miss out of action in United’s final pre-season game against Everton.
The 28-year-old has since been isolating after recently contracting the virus.
The funky attacking midfielder has now reassured everyone that he’s recovering fine and feeling much better as he still isolates away from the squad.
The Man United midfielder tweeted: “Feeling much better. Thank you for all the messages.”
Lingard should most likely miss the game against Leeds United over the weekend, but should be back for the trip to Southampton on August 21.
It’s yet to be seen if Lingard will remain a Manchester United player this season, as he’s attracting massive interest from Arsenal and West Ham. However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said that the buzzing midfielder will be needed this season.
