Former Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku is set to join Chelsea, as Inter Milan have accepted a £97.5m bid from Chelsea to secure his signature.
According to reports, Lukaku will undergo a medical with Chelsea in the next 24 hours, and could be unveiled by the Blues in the early part of next week.
Inter Milan are now in search of a new striker ahead of the start of the season and reports claim that they have their eyes on a Manchester United player.
The Daily Mirror claim Inter are now looking to sign Anthony Martial on loan for the 2021-22 season.
According to the report by the Daily Mirror, Manchester United will only accept Inter’s bid on the condition that the Serie A champions accept an obligation to buy is included as part of the deal.
Martial has scored 78 goals in 258 appearances for Manchester United since signing from Monaco in 2015, but he’s yet to live up to the hype that made Manchester United spend £50m on his signature.
