According to Daily Mail, Manchester United are exploring a move for Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez with French club PSG ready to table an offer for Pogba.
Manchester United reportedly want to sign a top-level midfielder amid reports linking Pogba with PSG and Nemanja Matic weighing up his options.
Saul has been on Manchester United’s radar for some time though his £128million buy out clause was an obvious obstacle.
However, it is believed Atletico Madrid are ready to accept £45million for Saul with the Spanish club under increasing financial strain.
Saul is under contract until 2026 and is one of Atletico’s highest earners. Atletico Madrid had the midfielder to Barcelona and Juventus in recent weeks but a move failed to materialise.
Liverpool also admire Saul but they are unlikely to buy unless they sell another midfielder.
