According to reliable transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Kieran Trippier’s transfer to Manchester United hinges on the sale of Manchester United fullback Diogo Dalot.
Manchester United are interested in signing Atletico Madrid right-back Trippier but want to clarify the future of Dalot.
Romano wrote: “Kieran Trippier situation is still quiet as Manchester United need to clarify Diogo Dalot future [AC Milan want him, but United ask for €4/5m loan fee + buy option].”
Meanwhile, according to Manchester Evening News, Trippier expects any move to Manchester United to materialise towards the end of the transfer window.
The 30 year old England international has just one year left on his Atletico Madrid contract and has already made arrangements to relocate his family to Manchester.
