Championship side Queens Park Rangers defeated Manchester United 4-2 in a pre-season fixture on Saturday.
United had scored an early opener through Jesse Lingard, but it didn’t take long for Charlie Austin to score the leveller. The London side went on to score three more goals, with the game ending in a 4-2 defeat.
QPR striker Charlie Austin has told Manchester United that their right-back isn’t a quality defender.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka had a very poor game against QPR, and was exploited twice in the build-up to two of Rangers goals, and for Charlie Austin, Wan-Bissaka doesn’t deserve to play for Manchester United.
He told talkSPORT: “Although Manchester United have signed [Raphael] Varane, their biggest problem is they need a right-back.
“Aaron Wan-Bissaka is not up to the [required] quality. We played them the other day, and I know it was only a pre-season, but they need to go all out for Kieran Trippier.
“That’s who they’re crying out for. Aaron Wan-Bissaka can’t defend!
“And his final ball is not what a centre-forward wants, it’s not what [Edinson] Cavani wants, it’s not what [Marcus] Rashford wants. They need to sign Kieran Trippier.”
