Revealed: What Solskjaer did after Sancho requested for Cavani’s No.7 shirt

New Manchester United signing Jadon Sancho requested for Edinson Cavani’s No.7 shirt following his transfer from Borussia Dortmund.

According to Daily Mail, the winger asked Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to give up the No.7 shirt.

However, Solskjaer declined Sancho’s request as he didn’t feel it would be fair for the Uruguayan to give up his number after doing so well donning it last season.

Instead, Sancho was given the number 25 (2+5) and is in line to receive the no.7 shirt once Cavani leaves next summer.
