Erling Haaland is a man in demand, as many of Europe’s biggest clubs have been linked with the Borussia Dortmund striker.
New Manchester United signing Jadon Sancho formed a good relationship with Haaland on and off the pitch at Dortmund, as they both lit the German Bundesliga on fire.
However, their partnership has been cut off, with Sancho sealing a move to Old Trafford.
Following Manchester United’s conformation of Sancho’s transfer, Haaland took to social media to send a message to his former teammate, saying that he can’t wait to see him shine.
He wrote on Instagram: “Good luck on your next journey bro, we had some good times together! Can’t wait to see you shine!”
The Manchester United winger has sent a message of his own to Sancho and told the Norwegian that he hopes to reunite with him soon.
Sancho responded: “A connection like no other, we will soon meet again brother. Take care and good luck to you too.”
Haaland is believed to be Chelsea’s number one transfer target this summer, but United no longer seem to be interested in him this summer following the signing of Sancho.
However, Haaland could be gotten for a cheap fee next summer as his release clause of £65m could be signed then.
With Cavani staying for only a year, United will need a new striker next season, and there could be no better choice than Erling Haaland.
