Manchester United forward Anthony Martial struggled for form last season, as injury also got the better of him for most of the campaign.
The Frenchman has never really hit top form consistently since moving to Manchester United in a mouth-watering deal six years ago, and reports had claimed that Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was ready to let go of him this summer.
A report from Daily Star had claimed that Manchester United are ready to cash in on Anthony Martial this summer following the arrival of Jadon Sancho.
The report claims the Red Devils will let Martial leave this summer if a £50million offer is received for the France international.
Meanwhile, Solskjaer has revealed that he’s not going to get rid of Martial as he claims that he is keen on keeping all his forward players including Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial.
“It shows the fans that we mean business,” he told Sky Sports when asked about the signing of Sancho.
“We hope that we’ve got one of the best forwards in England for the next 10, 12 years. We’ve got Marcus – 23, we’ve got Mason who is a young lad.
“So we have got an English core there and then we’ve got the added experience with Edinson, Anthony, Bruno, Jesse is coming back. So I think the forward line is looking really good.”
