England international Jadon Sancho reportedly had a meeting with Borussia Dortmund chiefs before his Manchester United transfer.

The Red Devils have reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund to pay £73million for the winger.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Sancho had a secret meeting with Borussia Dortmund in April.

In that, he told the club: “I want to go to Man United. For me, it’s time to go. I have an agreement to leave if the right bid will arrive, but please this time I want to go.”

Manchester United tried to sign Sancho from Borussia Dortmund last summer but the Red Devils were unwilling to match Borussia Dortmund’s £108million asking price.
