It remains to be seen who will capture free agent Sergio Ramos, with Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United touted as two possible destinations for the Real Madrid veteran.
Now 35, Ramos is still being valued as a top defender and one of the best in the game.
After a successful 16-year stint with Real Madrid, former Barcelona striker Samuel Eto’o, has urged his former side to sign Ramos and believes that the former Real Madrid captain can help them win the Champions League.
Eto said in an interview with AS: “Hopefully Sergio goes to PSG. If I could sign him for Barça, I would. If he goes to PSG, I will be happy and I know that he will help us win the Champions League, which is proving very difficult for us.”
Manchester United are keen on signing a new centre-back this summer, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly looking for a perfect pair for Harry Maguire.
Do you agree with Eto that Ramos has what it takes to still play at the top level?
