According to transfer expert Ian McGarry, Manchester United have offered Donny van de Beek plus cash for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.
The England international is Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s top target and the Red Devils are hoping to get the deal done this summer after missing out last summer.
Sancho has endured a frustrating Euro 2020 campaign for England so far, only making a fleeting cameo against Czech Republic on Tuesday night but Manchester United remain keen on completing the transfer.
McGarry, speaking on Reach PLC’s Transfer Window Podcast, said: “It is our information that Van de Beek has been mentioned as part of the potential deal to take Jadon Sancho to United.
“It’s not something we understand Van de Beek is aware of.
“Borussia Dortmund are considering with regard to the trade and sale of their attacking midfielder, who has obviously been long coveted by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Manchester United as a club.”
