Harry Maguire trains with England squad after injury recovery as Southgate makes decision on when to play the defender

Manchester United defender Harry Maguire finally returned to England training on Thursday after recovering from the injury that saw him miss the final weeks of the season.

The defender was out injured for the final weeks of Manchester United’s season and missed the Europa League final defeat to Villarreal.

England boss Gareth Southgate has reportedly made the decision not to play Maguire in England’s first two games of the Euros against Croatia and Scotland.

Maguire is targeting a return, most likely as a substitute, in the final group game against the Czech Republic in 11 days’ time.
