West Ham have made their transfer decision on Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard after he was dropped from England’s squad for the Euros.
Lingard was named in Gareth Southgate’s 33-man provisional squad for this summer’s European Championships but failed to make the final 26-man side for the tournament.
According to The Sun via Daily Mail, West Ham are looking to accelerate their pursuit of Lingard now he is no longer part of England’s Euro 2020 set-up.
Lingard enjoyed a successful loan spell at West Ham and the London club are keen on signing the England international on a permanent deal.
Lingard scored nine Premier League goals for the Hammers last season and registered five assists after joining them on loan in January.
