Former Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho has urged Tottenham striker Harry Kane to play for a club where he will be ‘happy’ amid interest from Manchester United and Manchester City.
Kane recently suggested he wants to leave Tottenham Hotspur and Mourinho believes the 27-year-old will want to remain in the Premier League.
“It is about legacy. Legacy is about medals,” Mourinho said in an interview with The Sun.
“But who knows? In five weeks Harry could be a European champion.”
Asked where he thinks Kane will be playing next season, Mourinho said: “I think he has to play where he is happy.
“And I think he is happy in England. He is a very Premier League guy.”
