Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has now set a new Manchester United record after scoring from the spot in the 3-1 victory over Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon.

No player in the club’s history has ever scored more than Fernandes’ 13 penalties in one season, as revealed by ESPN , and it continues his remarkable record since moving to Old Trafford.

Since joining Manchester United in January 2020, Fernandes has scored 21 penalties in his 76 appearances.

With Fernandes scoring 39 goals since joining Manchester United, it means more than half of his goals for the club have come via the penalty spot.
