Legendary Manchester United boss Alex Ferguson was spotted arriving at Paris Saint-Germain’s team hotel today on the morning of their crunch clash against Manchester City.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side are seeking to overturn a 2-1 defeat in the first leg in Paris last week to reach their second consecutive final.
Paris Saint-Germain are staying at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester, which is used by the Red Devils before home games at Old Trafford.
Ferguson is close friends with PSG boss Pochettino and it is likely the former Manchester United boss was invited by the PSG boss.
While the motive of the visit isn’t known, Metro UK claim Ferguson might have been invited to speak to the PSG players as they seek to turnaround last week’s 2-1 defeat to Manchester City.
