Manchester United identify replacement for David de Gea with Spaniard set to leave at the end of the season

Manchester United have reportedly identified a replacement for David De Gea with the Spanish goalkeeper set to leave the club at the end of the season after failing down the pecking order at Manchester United.

De Gea is now second choice goalkeeper at Manchester United with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer now favouring Dean Henderson as the club’s number one goalkeeper.

According to ESPN, Manchester United want to take Sam Johnstone back to Old Trafford as a replacement for David de Gea.

The Red Devils are reportedly plotting a raid for West Brom goalkeeper who spent nine years in Manchester United’s academy.
