According to reports, Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs has been left fuming after being snubbed in the Premier League Hall of Fame.
Ex-Manchester United players had dominated the 23-man list under consideration to be inducted into the Premier League hall of fame.
The likes of Roy Keane, David Beckham, Paul Scholes, Eric Cantona, Andy Cole, Rio Ferdinand, Peter Schmeichel, Robin Van Persie, Nemanja Vidic and Michael Owen are part of the list. However, one surprise exclusion was Ryan Giggs, who is seen as one of greatest ever players to play for Manchester United. Of the famous class of 92, Giggs had the most longevity.
Giggs was excluded because his off-field actions have prevented him, as he has now been charged to court for assault.
Arsenal legend Thierry Henry was a late replacement for Giggs, and according to The Mirror, ‘Giggs has been left shocked’ by the snub and was ‘dropped at the last minute after being charged with assaulting two women’.
