Jesse Lingard makes decision on Manchester United future after excelling on loan at West Ham

Jesse Lingard has been a revelation since joining West Ham United on loan from Manchester United in the January transfer window.

Following his impressive form at West Ham, Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants him back at Manchester United but West Ham are also keen on signing the midfielder permanently.

According to Eurosport via Daily Mirror, Lingard will push to leave Manchester United permanently this summer amid interest from West Ham.

The 28-year-old had gone over 13 months without a Premier League start – with his last appearance in a United XI in the division coming in the 2020 New Year’s Day loss at Arsenal – and believes he’s better off not returning to Manchester United.
