Manchester United beat Granada 2-0 home and away to book a place in the semi-finals of the Europa League.
United will now face Italian Serie A side Roma in the semi-finals of the Europa League, after the Italian side managed to go past Ajax in the quarter-finals.
There are two familiar faces in the Roma side who had donned the United jersey — Chris Smalling and Henrikh Mkhitaryan. United will also be against former Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko.
Reacting to meeting Roma in the semi-finals, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitted that he hasn’t watched much of the Italian side, but spoke highly of their star striker Dzeko.
“I’ve not really seen too much of them,” Solskjaer said of Roma, speaking to BT Sport.
“I know they’ve had two good games against Ajax where they defended well, as Italian teams always do.
“They are an experienced team and we all know Dzeko. Any ball in the box is a dangerous one.
“We are looking forward to it, we are in the semi now and it feels like a proper European tie.
“Roma is a club with loads of traditional and history but we have done well against Italian teams before.”
