Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made a bold call to give the captain’s armband to Paul Pogba for the Europa League quarter-final second leg tie against Granada.
With Harry Maguire suspended for the tie as well as Scott McTominay, Solskjaer turned to Pogba to captain the team.
The Frenchman last captained United in the FA Cup quarter-final defeat at Wolves in March 2019, and United fans were pleased to see him with the armband.
Pogba had a good game before being subbed off at the start of the second half. He gave a fine assist for Edinson Cavani to score the opener for United.
