Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba could leave the club at the end of the season and the club is looking at signing a replacement for the France international.

Pogba’s Manchester United contract expires in the summer of 2022 and Manchester United could be forced to sell this summer or risk losing him for free next year.

According to Italian media outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, Manchester United have reignited interest in Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic but could face competition from Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.

Manchester United have been linked with the 26 year old Serbian midfielder in the past but a move failed to materialise.

Although Milinkovic-Savic is contracted to Lazio until 2024, he is ready to leave the Italian club this summer if they don’t secure Champions League football for next season.

Lazio, who were eliminated by Bayern Munich in the last-16 of this year’s competition, find themselves with six points to make up to finish in the Serie A top four.

Milinkovic-Savic has scored 46 goals in 240 appearances for Lazio.
