Manchester United given greenlight to submit bid for Real Madrid player

According to Daily Mail, Manchester United have received that Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane wants to leave this summer.

The 27-year-old Varane has one year left on contract after this summer and has stalled on extending his contract with the Spanish club.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sees Varane as the perfect centre-back partnership for Harry Maguire.

Real Madrid reportedly want £60million for Varane despite having just one year left in his contract after this summer but Manchester United are hoping to sign the centre-back for less.

Manchester United face competition from French side Paris Saint-Germain, the club Varane followed as a boy.
