Jesse Lingard has been in fine form since leaving Manchester United on loan to West Ham.
The 28-year-old never really got a chance under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but is impressing massively with David Moyes side. He has now scored eight goals in nine games and earned a recall to the England squad last month.
Lingard scored a brace as West Ham beat Leicester City 3-2 on Sunday, and Manchester United legend Roy Keane was full of praise for the midfielder.
Roy Keane is usually known for his controversial remarks, but he was full of praise for Lingard after his performance against the Foxes.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Roy Keane said: “Credit to West Ham and Jesse Lingard. They’ve been outstanding. What I give Jesse credit for, he turned up at West Ham having not played much football for Manchester United. He’s obviously kept himself in good shape, he’s a good pro.
“He had a difficult spell at United, maybe took his eye off the ball. But he’s always been a talented boy. He looks focused, he looks hungry. He always had that talent. And it’s great to see it.”
