Manchester United secured a comfortable victory over Granada in the first leg of the Europa League quarter-final clash on Thursday night.
Goals from Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes sealed a 2-0 victory for United, as the Red Devils already have a foot in the semifinals of the competition.
Meanwhile, United also have three suspensions ahead of next week’s second leg clash, as Scott McTominay, Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire will miss the fixture at Old Trafford following yellow cards in Thursday’s first-leg win.
There were five yellow cards for United in total, as Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic were also booked. However, neither yellow card was particularly significant, as they didn’t warrant a suspension.
Reacting after the game, Solskjaer told MUTV: “It was not a perfect night.
“We got three yellow cards and three suspensions. 2-0 is very good result. We know how difficult it is to come to Spain. We’ve got to play well to get a result.”
